Cookie & Session Notice
L10 uses cookies only for what’s needed to sign you in and keep the app working. It does not use advertising, analytics, or third-party tracking cookies, and it does not track you across other websites.
Cookies we set
- Session cookie: a secure, HTTP-only cookie that keeps you signed in after you sign in with Google. It contains a signed session token. It expires 48 hours after you sign in, after which you are asked to sign in again. The 48 hours run from sign-in and are not extended by activity, so a session always ends within two days.
- Sign-in and account-linking helper cookies: short-lived cookies used only while you sign in with Google, or link Google for exports, to protect those steps against cross-site request forgery. They are cleared as soon as the step finishes.
- Display preferences: small cookies remembering how you chose to lay a page out, so it looks the same next time. They hold a display setting only: no identity, no tracking, and the app works normally without them.
Similar local storage
The app may store small non-tracking preferences in your browser (for example, a cached theme so the page doesn’t flash on load, and how you last arranged a table). These stay on your device and are not used to identify or track you. Signing out or clearing your browser data removes them.
Managing cookies
Because these cookies are essential to signing in, blocking them will stop the app from working. You can clear them through your browser at any time, which will simply sign you out.
